Headteacher Elaine Stiles writes:

"At Cherry Willingham Community School, we aim for every child to make outstanding progress. We provide good quality teaching in a calm and orderly learning environment as we endeavour to achieve the very best for our students.

"Because we are a smaller than average secondary school, we know our students well, resulting in a school where every child really does matter. Starting with excellent transition arrangements in year 6 and continuing with our experienced Year teams, we provide the care, guidance and support that enables them to achieve their full potential.

"In spite of our size, we are ambitious and this ambition is captured in our school motto of ‘Be Your Best’. Our students achieve good results, from students who achieve high grades at GCSE and go on to Sixth Form and University to those who achieve the vocational qualifications that lead to an apprenticeship, we help students succeed on the pathway that is best for them.

"Although important, we do not see examination results as the only measure of success. Through our House system we provide a program of extra-curricular activities designed to promote students’ personal growth. These include trips and visits to destinations local, national and international as well as competitions and activities in a wide range of subject areas.

"I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this delightful school and I warmly invite you to visit us."
